This is a painting of my sister in law Stephanie and niece Sofia. My cat Nupu’s tail has crept into the bottom left corner. Outside my old Michigan apartment is the first snow of the fall, with leaves still on the branches. It is a study in opposites, warm and cool, orange and blue. The blue wall inside are a warm cerulean and the outside wall a cool ultramarine. |
